Sensei Stewart Ratzker, John Nguyen and I had a great workout tonite at our temporary NYC dojo. Stewart and I are working with John to hone his skills toward his testing for Black Belt.

Tonite, John fought hard with Stewart, did crisp Kata and techniques and we look forward to him joining the ranks of the Legend Back Belts.

We miss Grand Master Lenchus as he recovers from some resporatory problems and hope he will be joining us in the next week or two. Please join me in wishing him a quick recovery. OSS!

Our first night at the new Dojo with GM Lenchus was held on a nite with a nasty snow storm outside. Several people had said they would be there but for one reason or another never showed up. It turned out to be Sensei Lenchus, Stuart, JoVaughn and myself. We had a great work out reviewing our basics and some new things taught by GM Lenchus. Our class this past Tuesday was again getting back to basics. I reviewed kata and Stuart reviewed and stressed the effectiveness of proper blocking. We started with cleaing the floors in the traditional manner.
